Gina Viola for Los Angeles

I designed and animated a few Instagram videos for the Gina Viola social team during her primary bid for Mayor of Los Angeles in 2022.
The intent was to draw attention to her campaign by highlighting the people-centered issues of her bold, progressive platform. She was a very different candidate from the status quo—advocating for police defunding in favor of refunding social services, a $39 minimum wage, People's Budget LA, and more.
I also created a promo graphic template for an Instagram Live series of discussions between Gina and notable members of the LA community.
